David Moore is a Buckinghamshire Councillor for Farnham Common & Burnham Beeches and the Conservative candidate alongside Cllrs Thomas Hogg and Dev Dhillon for the Farnhams & Stoke Poges in the May 2025 elections. Since winning a highly competitive by-election in February 2024—where he increased the Conservative vote share to 52% despite challenging national circumstances—David is a dedicated campaigner for the community.
David serves on several key committees, including the South Bucks Area Planning Committee, Standards and General Purposes Committee, Beeches Community Board, and the Children’s and Education Select Committee. He also sits as a Parish Councillor on Farnham Royal Parish Council, a role he has held since 2021. He can be found 'purging the potholes', volunteering or getting involved with the local Church.
A member of the Conservative Party since 2018, David has been active in politics from a young age. He has campaigned extensively in both the 2019 and 2024 general elections, alongside numerous local and by-elections. During his time at Exeter University, he also stood as a candidate for Devon County Council and Exeter City Council.
Professionally, he works in strategy and communications while balancing his responsibilities as a councillor. David lives in the constituency with his wife, Ophelia.
