Joy Morrissey MP Stay at Home The Government has implemented a national lock down. You must not leave your home. Only leave your home for the following: Food and medicine. Exercise once a day by yourself. Your place of work, if working from home is not possible. Do not meet friends or family. You can spread the virus even if you have no symptoms. Failure to follow these rules may result in fines being issued. If you can help please go to ventilator.herokuapp.com and fill in your businesses information, or call 0300 456 3565 We are passing legislation to allow recently retired nurses and doctors to return to work and help manage incoming cases. We are working to increase testing capacity to 25,000 tests a day which will allow us to test NHS staff working on the frontline. Employment If you need to self-isolate and your employer requires evidence, you can get an isolation note from NHS 111 online at 111.nhs.uk/covid-19 DO NOT call NHS 111. Go to www.gov.uk for more information. Schools All state funded schools are closed until further notice. Schooling will still be made available to certain core workers deemed of national significance, including NHS staff, social workers, police, and many more. Students will instead be assessed by an independently moderated assessment based upon mock examinations, previous public examination results, and input form schools and teachers.
